Winners Bitch/Best of Winners/SCWTCNC Specialty 2010

Marquee’s Tax Exchange (4/15/2008), aka “Bama”  was  awarded Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at the SCWTCNC Specialty held in conjunction with Northern California Terrier Association Group Show in Sacramento, California on April 16, 2010 under Breeder Judge Gary Vlachos. On April 18, 2010 she became Marquee Wheatens’  first Alabama AKC champion when she was awarded  Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Breed over 9 specials by Breeder Judge Cindy Vogels at the Sacramento Kennel Club.  Bama had a very good weekend with two RWB on the other two days of the four day weekend.  Bama’s  Sire and Dam are Ch. Harbour Hills Mike Delfino and Ch. Gemstone’s Marquee Cut .  She is a Chase granddaughter.  Her half sister  Ch. Gemstone’s All That Glitters  was BOS under Mr. Vlachos.

Ch Marquee’s Spellcaster ROM (Morgan)

In October of 2008, the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of American awarded Morgan the coveted ROM (Register of Merit).   The award recognizes the breed’s top producers. Like her dam, Ditto,  Morgan produced eight champions in 3 litters, a stellar accomplishment. Many of her offspring went on to win National and Regional Specialties, as well as Group placements.

Chase arrived in Montgomery with 9 points and two BOB’s over specials including a Group 4 under Judge Edith Izant. On Montgomery Sunday 2001, Chase finished his championship when Breeder/Judge Gary Vlachos selected him as his WD. Chase was also selected WD the day before at Devon by Judge Anne Rogers Clark. He was 4 for 4 from the BBE class on this wonderful weekend. We want to thank each of these judges for their recognition of what we believe to be an outstandingly moderate, but elegantly sound and self assured show dog.

Chase is co-owned by and spends his nonshow days with Marcia Weisman. He was introduced to the practice conformation ring by Lance Canter and was groomed by Nancy Han. To each of them is extended our heartfelt thanks. Chase  is available for stud.
